Purpose and scope
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the rules governing how users may access and use Tetherra Ltd's products and services, including OcheOS (the darts academy management platform), Chill Development software products, and any other services operated by Tetherra Ltd or its subsidiaries.
This AUP applies to all users, including individual end users, academy administrators, coaches, club managers, and any organisation that accesses our services ("you", "your").
By using any Tetherra product or service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation of this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to our services.

Permitted use
You may use Tetherra products and services for their intended purposes, which include:
- Managing a darts academy, club, or league through OcheOS
- Recording and tracking player performance data for legitimate coaching purposes
- Scheduling sessions, events, and bookings for your organisation
- Communicating with members and participants within the platform
- Using Chill Development software products for their stated purposes
- Accessing tetherra.com for information about Tetherra and its ventures
All use must be in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including UK data protection law, consumer protection law, and any sports governing body rules applicable to your organisation.

Prohibited activities
You must not use any Tetherra product or service to:
Legal violations
- Violate any applicable law or regulation, including data protection, intellectual property, and consumer law
- Engage in fraudulent activity or impersonate any person or entity
- Facilitate illegal gambling, money laundering, or other financial crimes
- Distribute or store illegal content of any kind
Harmful conduct
- Harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate other users or any third party
- Discriminate against individuals on the basis of any protected characteristic
- Upload, transmit, or distribute abusive, defamatory, or hateful content
- Share content that sexualises or exploits minors under any circumstances
Technical abuse
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, or data
- Introduce malware, viruses, or any harmful code into our systems
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks or any form of load-testing without prior written consent
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from our platforms using automated tools
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our products
Data misuse
- Share, sell, or transfer access to your account to unauthorised parties
- Use member or player data for purposes other than the legitimate management of your organisation
- Export data from our platforms for use in competing services without our consent
- Process personal data in ways that violate UK GDPR or our Data Processing Agreement

Data and privacy obligations
When you use OcheOS or any Tetherra platform to manage data about other people (such as your academy members, players, or staff), you take on responsibilities as a data controller under UK GDPR.
You must:
- Have a lawful basis for processing any personal data you enter into our platforms
- Obtain appropriate consent or have another valid legal basis before collecting data about minors
- Inform individuals whose data you process about how it is used
- Not enter sensitive personal data (health, financial, or biometric data) into our platforms unless explicitly supported and appropriate safeguards are in place
- Comply with our Data Processing Agreement where applicable
- Notify us promptly if you become aware of a data breach involving data processed through our platforms

Content standards
Any content you upload, post, or transmit through our platforms must:
- Be accurate and not misleading
- Not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party
- Not contain personal data about individuals who have not consented to it being shared
- Be appropriate for the context and audience of the platform
We reserve the right to remove any content that violates this policy without prior notice.

Security responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. This includes:
- Using a strong, unique password and enabling two-factor authentication where available
- Not sharing your login credentials with any other person
- Logging out of shared or public devices after use
- Notifying us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
- Keeping any API keys or integration credentials secure and rotating them if compromised

Minor users
Our platforms may be used by darts academies and clubs that have members under the age of 18. Where your organisation involves minors, you must:
- Obtain verifiable parental or guardian consent before creating profiles or processing data relating to under-18s
- Ensure that any communication with minors through the platform is appropriate and supervised
- Comply with all relevant safeguarding obligations applicable to your organisation and jurisdiction
- Not grant minors administrative access to the platform without appropriate supervision
Tetherra takes the safety of minors extremely seriously. Any use of our platforms that endangers, exploits, or exposes minors to harm will result in immediate account termination and referral to the appropriate authorities.

Enforcement
Tetherra Ltd reserves the right to investigate any suspected violation of this AUP. If we determine that a violation has occurred, we may at our sole discretion take any of the following actions:
- Issue a formal warning to the account holder
- Temporarily suspend access to the relevant product or service
- Permanently terminate the account and all associated data
- Remove offending content without notice
- Report the activity to law enforcement or regulatory authorities
- Pursue legal action where appropriate
We will use reasonable judgement in determining the appropriate response, taking into account the severity and nature of the violation.

Reporting violations
If you become aware of any activity that may violate this AUP, including potential data breaches, security vulnerabilities, or harmful content, please report it to us immediately.
