Live departure boards for any space.
Real-time train and transit times on any screen. Born on a Raspberry Pi in a real venue and proven in the wild, now a live, hosted product anyone can stand up in minutes.
About Trainboard
Trainboard started as a simple idea: put a proper, station-style departure board on the wall of a pub so people could catch their train without squinting at a phone. It was built on a Raspberry Pi, wired to live rail data, and it has been running in a real venue ever since.
That field-proven build is now a live product. The same live board, the same clarity, but hosted on the Tetherra stack, multi-tenant, configurable for any station or stop, with per-venue branding and an owner portal, and able to run on whatever screen you already have.
Real-time times, platforms, and delays pulled from live rail data and refreshed continuously, the same information as the boards on the concourse.
Raspberry Pi, a spare TV, a tablet on the wall, or a browser tab. Point it at the board URL and it just runs, no install, no fuss.
Pick a station, set your filters, choose how many services to show. The board styles itself and rotates automatically, set it and forget it.
Designed for pubs, cafés, offices, and waiting rooms near a station, anywhere a glance at the next departures saves someone a missed train.
